Green at Heart Take Three
Good morning! I didn’t get a chance to tell you about my weekend yesterday, but it was a fun one! Some of my very favorite people came together in our little town of Ankeny over the weekend. Sharon and Lori were in town to teach a Copic Certification class and Jami and Sankari came to attend the class. We all enjoyed some much-needed chick time! Lori, Jami, and I had a little time to stamp on Friday afternoon so we all sat down with Basic Grey Green at Heart patterned paper and came up with three totally different cards. I decided to give Cuppie a little love so I grabbed the Sweet Spring stamp set. I paper pieced the lining with the same patterned paper as the background and colored the rest of Cuppie with Copics. The image panel was cut out using Labels 12 and then I used my Corner Chomper Scallop on the top corners of the card to match the Labels 12 shape. I added a Baby Pink Candy dot for the cherry and a touch of Illuminate Glitter Top coat to the image. The ribbon is Green Apple Silk and I also used a few crystal swirls behind the main image to help it pop. It’s always fun to see the different styles that can be achieved with the same patterned paper. And so you can see all of our cards in the same picture below. Jami used the Favorite Peeps set and Lori used Easter Blessings. You can find all of the details of the card on their blog:
Jami Sibley: More is More
