Hey All! We had our March Key Ingredients challenge yesterday so I wasn’t able to get the TESC103 Top Crops posted. Never fear…they are here today and just as fabulous as always! You are so incredibly talented! I love your ideas! I have a question for you about the cupcake in a jar… (sorry for my lack of knowledge)

I am wondering about how the recipient of the cupcakes gets them out. Do they just eat them out of the jar?

Love the idea! Just trying to wrap my brain around the receiving end. Thanks so much!

Super cute! My husband is in the military and deploys quite often. During his last deployment I searched far and wide for a way to send baked goods to him so they would be fresh when they arrived. I decided to try some things, and discovered you can bake in the mason jars, and "can" your baked goods! They have a shelf life of several months, though ours didnt last that long. I used jiffy blueberry muffin mix and used the square, small jars that sit about 2 inches high, I baked 4 jars at a time(one jiffy box will fill 4 jars half full). You set your jars on a cookie sheet, pour the batter into the jars no more then half full, and bake as directed, take them out to cool and immediatly place the seals on. They will seal, pop down, just like canning veggies or soups. I also made brownies, other muffins, and breads. I enjoy reading your blog and love how cute you decorated your jars. This next deployment, his jars will be much fancier! lol

OH MY GOSH!!! These are ALL so amazing I couldn't pick a favorite! SOOO super yummy-ALL of it! Taylor it was SO great to meet you for the minute and a half we had to spare, LOL! at the dinner. You are just as cute and sweet as I had pictured and was so nice to meet some of the girls, too! I am LOVING everyone's sneak peeks and can't wait to see more!!!!
