TESC109 – Cheaper than Therapy
I decided to use the April Key Ingredients (just released yesterday!) for this week’s sketch. I was feeling inspired by all the wonderful things the Baker’s Dozen did with the chipboard pieces included in the kit and I wanted to try it out for myself! I started with the scissors and colored the blades with silver paint pen. Then I colored the handle with black Copic marker and covered it with Glossy Accents. To finish off the scissors I added a small black pearl in between the blades. Then I picked out some thread to match the patterned paper and wrapped that around the spool. I colored the needle with silver paint pen and threaded the string through the eye of the needle. Then on to the sewing machine… I colored the chipboard with Copic marker and added a coat of Glossy Accents over the body of the machine. I pierced and faux stitched around each of the circles and finished it off by embellishing with some buttons, vintage flower trim, and a sentiment from Crafty Expressions. Thanks for stopping by today! I’m looking forward to checking out what you all create using the TESC109 sketch!
