Happy Saturday! I don’t usually post over the weekend, but I had some extra time in my stamp room today and I found myself playing with the June Key Ingredients kit again! Once I get out all of the coordinating ingredients I love the challenge of seeing how many cards I can create and which stamp sets work well with the patterned papers from the kit. Today I was inspired by the strawberries in the October Afternoon Fly a Kite patterned paper and grabbed my Berries and Cherries stamp set for the card. I stamped the image in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored the image with Copic markers (R27, R46, R89, YG95, YG95, Y35, YR23, W1, and W3). I cut the image with a Spellbinders circle die and layered it onto the Large Big Scalloped Circle. I added a few buttons and a strip of strawberries from the patterned paper. As I said above, the cardstock, patterned paper, and buttons are from the June Key Ingredients. We’ve had a whole bunch of new subscribers over the past several days!
