Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Day 1
Hey Everybody! I can’t believe it’s been a week since I’ve checked in here! It’s been a long time since that happened, but we had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family, a little shopping, and some time to relax too. I hope you enjoyed your holiday as well! Today the Baker’s Dozen and I are back at it with sneak peeks for our December release (yes…can you believe it’s December!?).We have a lot of goodies on the menu today including a new stamp set, two coordinating die sets, three border dies, and a brand new surprise! I don’t want to keep you in suspense any longer so let’s get started!
I’m so excited to introduce our first Taylored Impression plate! Our impression plates are made from the same American Steel as Taylored Dies. They’re double-sided which means you get two patterns (and twice the use!) from one impression plate! Our first impression plate features two fun patterns, offset scallops and scallops and circles. Both patterns are side by side in the graphic below, but each has its very own side on the impression plate. Many of us have used the impression plate on our projects
today so keep your eyes peeled for the fabulous backgrounds! I know lots of us are visual learners, so I’ve created a video to show you how Taylored Impressions work. We also have a useful chart for you to reference (see above) when you’re ready to use your Taylored Impression plate! You can find all of the information on our new impressions plates on our About our Dies & Impressions page HERE.
In addition to our first impression plate, of course we have some new stamps to show you too! Today we’re sneaking peeks at Friendship Blooms, a beautiful set of flowers and friendship sentiments designed by Nancy McKinney as part of the Whimsical Wishes collection. It has been ages since I created a one sheet wonder and this set is perfect for it! So I grabbed a piece of Kraft cardstock and used the stamp index as my color inspiration. The inks I used on my one sheet wonder are Prussian Blue, Lipstick Red, Popcorn, Lime Pastel, Tangerine, Pumpkin Spice, and Olive Pastel. Then I set out to create a set of cards using the patterned paper that I stamped. After finishing the cards I made a little purse to store them in with the rest of the patterned paper.
Can you count how many dies I used on my projects? There are so many that I can’t count so I’ll just start sharing them! 🙂 First, we have three scallop border dies in three different sizes: small, medium, and large. Each border die measures 6″ long. These are such a practical and useful addition to any crafter’s collection!
We also have a set of dies and a separate to coordinate with the images in the Friendship Blooms stamp set! The flowers work great for layering and creating your own embellishments!
Perhaps some of you have missed seeing our dies in action so I created this video to share how they work. I also show you an alternative method for aligning your stamped image with the die for a perfect trim every time!
Thanks so much for stopping by for our first day of sneak peeks! I hope you see something you like! All of the products I’ve shared today will be available for purchase at the TE Store on Friday, December 3rd at 8am PST! Hope to see you here tomorrow for our second day of sneak peeks and in the meantime you’ll want to check out what our talented team created using Friendship Blooms:
