A Christmas Tea Party
Hey everybody! I’ve been enjoying my little break to spend more time with family and friends, but I thought I’d stop in to show you a few pictures of one of the things that’s been keeping me busy! It’s always fun to gather friends, family, and neighbors around the holidays. I want to share some pictures of the Christmas Tea Party we recently hosted. Now, when I say “we”…. I mean mostly my mom. I helped make the invitations, but she handed them out, decorated her house beautifully, and prepared the most scrumptious buffet! All of the mothers, daughters, and grandmas who came had a great time and enjoyed the tea as well. I know your jaws are probably dropping as you realize that I actually remembered my camera for the occasion! *grin* If you’re curious about some of the foods you see, here’s a list of the spread we enjoyed: Cinnamon Pretzels, Holiday Chex Mix, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bread, Apple Bread, Carrot Bread, Spice Cake, Pecan Tassies, Caramel Heavenlies, Chocolate Cupcakes, and Broccoli Quiche. Mmmmmm…. is your mouth watering!? If not, take a look at these pictures!
My sister was visiting last week too and it was fun to have her around. Here she is with the family dog, Marley. It wouldn’t be a tea party without a dressed up dachshund! Marley made an appearance to properly lick all of the party plates clean. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’re all having fun with holiday preparations!
