Deconstructed Sketch #52 Card Set
Today I have another set of cards to share. Apparently I have a thing to card ‘sets’ lately! Once I get all the coordinating supplies out and find a sketch that I love, I just can’t seem to stop! We recently got these fabulous tulle flowers from Prima in the store. And just as quickly as they came in, they went out the door! I’ve been told they’ve been discontinued so I don’t think we’ll be getting any more of them, but maybe you have something similar in your stash that you could substitute? After landing on Jen’s Deconstructed Sketch #52 for the layout, I decided to pair up the flowers with My Mind’s Eye Miss Caroline Dolled Up patterned paper. I cut out circles with Spellbinders circle dies and then layered them onto Spellbinders Labels 3 to complete the sketch design. I’m always in need of birthday cards so I used the frilly “Happy Birthday” sentiment from Treasure Life on all three cards. I sponged around the sentiment with Antique Linen Distress ink. The cardstock colors are Blush Red Medium, Frosted Teal, Frosted Yellow, Lagoon, and Buttercream.
