I’m as lucky as can be…
Hey there! I hope you all had a great weekend! We had a nice time yesterday celebrating Jon’s first Father’s Day!
Madelyn and I tried our very best to make it a special day for him and make sure he knows how much we love him!
Madi did her part by sleeping through the night. *grin* And her cute little face provided the perfect centerpieces for this canvas wall hanging that I made for Jon:
The project was inspired by something similar that I saw on Pinterest. I painted the large canvas with Martha Stewart pink acrylic paint. Then I painted the three smaller canvases with about 20 coats of Martha Stewart Gold Glitter paint (no joke…20 coats each!). When everything was dry I mounted the photos of Madelyn onto the smaller canvases with foam tape. The 1/16″ foam tape that we have in the TE Store was perfect for this project because it’s industrial strength. I used it to adhere the small canvases to the larger canvas and they certainly aren’t going to budge! To finish it off I bought a navy blue sheet of wall vinyl and cut out the words with my Silhouette.
I love how it turned out and so does Jon! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
