Good morning! I hope you’re having a great week! I can’t believe it’s been over a week since I checked in here and now I have SO many things to share that I don’t know where to begin!

First, my blog hiatus is partly due to my stamp room being in disarray. Jon and his dad started a home improvement project in my stamp room on the 4th of July that began as “This project won’t take more than 5 hours” and ended up taking several days (isn’t that how it always goes!?). We replaced the stationary door that goes out to our deck with a sliding glass door. It’ll be awesome to let the breeze in during the fall! The room is mostly put back together at this point, they just need to replace one row of floor tiles.

The other reason for my absence is that preparations are in full swing for our trip to the Stampaway Convention in Cincinnati! I’ve been making class packets for the two classes I’m teaching, getting cash registers, booth decor, samples, make and takes, etc. etc. all ready to go! If you’re going to be in Cincinnati for the show please stop by the booth and see us!

Two of our special designers, Lea Lawson and Jessica Diedrich, are stepping down from the design team. They have been such an inspiration over the years and they will certainly be missed! It has been such a privilege working with these sweet gals and I wish them all the best in their future endeavors!

While Lea & Jessica are bidding farewell, I’m thrilled to say ‘hello’ to our newest Key Ingredients design team member, Tracy Clemente! If you been around Taylored Expressions for long, then Tracy is no stranger to you. She served as our TESC coordinator during 2012 and I’m so excited to welcome her into this new role with TE! She already has tons of fabulous projects to share with you in this month’s KI gallery!
