Taylored Dies – Now Easier to Use!
Hey there! Happy Friday! I’m popping in today to tell you about an
exciting change that makes Taylored Dies easier to use than ever before.
One of the things you all love most about our dies is the ability to
trim perfectly around a stamped image each and every time. And now the
process to align our stamped images with the coordinating die has
been simplified! What’s better than simple!?
Those of you who have purchased Taylored Dies that coordinate with
stamp images know that the dies have come with a clear
alignment tool to help you line up the image before die cutting. We
heard from many of you that the clear tool was easy to lose
and difficult to store so we are switching over to a simpler method that doesn’t require the clear piece! It’s super
quick and easy and all you need is a scrap of cardstock for creating your
own alignment template.
Here’s a quick video on how to perfectly align the die with the coordinating stamped image:
Since we introduced this method a while back, we
have received wonderful feedback. In fact, many of our designers use
this alignment method exclusively. The cardstock piece is much easier to
see than the clear alignment tool and you have the choice to cut one template
and keep it for future use or make a new one each time depending on
your crafting and organization style.
This simpler method works perfectly with the vast majority of our dies,
so the clear tool will no longer be included in the die package. That’s less to keep track
of and less to store! We’ve tried and tested
it and we’re confident you’ll find this new method both easy and
convenient!
Also, starting today you’ll find new instructions on the back of our
packaging to help you use our dies and can reference the above video on
the About Our Dies page at any time.
Please note, there are a select few dies that will continue to be sold with a
clear alignment tool. For example, we’ve found the Seasonal Wreath Die
easier to align using the clear alignment tool as you’re able to view
the middle of the stamped image when lining up.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
