Baker’s Dozen Studio Challenge – July
Hey there! Today the Baker’s Dozen and I are kicking off the first in a series of design team blog hops called the Studio Challenge! Each month we’ll go deep into our stamp studio to answer a fun, crafty question. We’ll be sharing our favorites, some tips and tricks, stamping advice and inspiration along the way!
The question for July is:
find a fabulous stamping hut well-stocked with papers, inks and other
stamping supplies, however you only have the 5 stamp sets you brought with you in the luggage you managed to salvage. So tell us, what stamps sets did you bring and why?
Whew…that’s a tough one! As I thought about my answer to the question I decided I’d take the situation literally. So I thought, “Hmmm… chances are I didn’t know I was going to find myself on a desert island when I packed my bags. And when I pack my bags I usually just throw things in that happen to be easily accessible.” I took a look on my stamp desk where I keep my go-to sets and narrowed it down to my top five favorites.
My project above uses Build a Treat (and of course I wouldn’t pack Build a Treat without also throwing in the Build a Treat Tops & Bottoms dies!). *grin* Lucky for me, the stamping hut I discovered was well-stocked with another one of my favorites… glittery polka dot paper from Doodlebug!
Here are the five stamp sets in my luggage along with the reason I packed them (in addition to them being easily accessible on my stamp desk!):
