It was a pretty tough contest so I combined all of the entries with 7 or more correct answers into a random drawing. The winner of two free stamp sets of her choice is Karen Hissong! Congratuations! Please email me with your two stamp set selections (new or old).
And now for the big release!! I recorded a video to show you all the new goodies! You can find them all in the Fresh Out of the Oven department! In addition to 23 new stamps and dies we also have NEW Taylored Wool Felt, American Crafts Glitter Tape, and tons of new 6×6 paper pads!
The Baker’s Dozen and I also have more projects to share using the new goodies. Here’s what I made using the Let’s Chat stamp set & Dial in Style dies:
I started by stamping the curly frame in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the sentiment inside in the same color. Then I re-stamped the sentiment in different colors, cut out and popped up several words on foam tape. I stamped the telephone, colored with Copics, and cut out using the coordinating Let’s Chat Phone die. I also used the Curly Border die to separate the patterned paper layers. The patterned paper is from the My Mind’s Eye School Daze 6×6 pad.
The new Dial in Style die set is super fun so I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to make a little coordinating telephone notecard. I folded my paper in half first and then lined up the top of the die so that the crease would stay intact and I’d come out with a folded notecard. TIP: If you’re creating a notecard, the die will need to cut through two layers of cardstock at once so you may want to try running it back and forth through your machine a couple times. It really depends on the thickness of your cardstock if you will need to do this. I cut out the remaining pieces and embellished the dial with rhinestones.
The Baker’s Dozen design team has even more inspiring projects to share with you today so make sure you check ’em out! AND we’ll be back tomorrow with even MORE goodies!
