Taylored Expressions Release Day – Stickin’ it to ’em!
Hey there! The December Release is here! Yesterday the Baker’s Dozen and I sneak peeked all of the new sets that are now available for our Petite-a-Palooza release! You can find everything in the Fresh Out of the Oven department. And the Baker’s Dozen and I have more inspiration to share today as well as an introduction to a FABULOUS new die organization solution from TE!
So I have a secret to share with you today. I’ve never showed off my die cutting station or my die storage area of my stamp room. Why? Because it was a disaster! I’ve tried storing my dies in lots of different ways… clear pockets, hand-sewn transparency pockets, strips of magnet on a storage panel and none of it worked for me. I could never keep up with the endless stream of dies that make their way into my craft room (which I’m totally not complaining about!). Please tell me I’m not alone! Here’s a look at my disorganized mess:
I’m happy to show off the mess because now I have it all cleaned up! I’m proud to introduce our very own Magnetic Binder Box Inserts to help organize and store your steel dies!
I spent about an hour and a half to take my entire TE die collection and organize it onto a total of 30 magnetic inserts that fit inside just three Binder Boxes! I organized them by elements/shapes, frames, and borders. Each binder box will hold 10-12 magnetic pages with just dies. However, for added versatility, the back of the magnetic panel can store cling mount or clear stamps! So if you’d prefer to store your stamps and dies together that’s an option too. The panels are very sturdy and the magnet is strong so your dies won’t be falling off when you turn the pages! Check out the video I recorded to show you the magnetic inserts in action:
Special Offer! Now through Sunday, for every 3 packages you buy, you’ll get one package free! Note: Do not add the free packages to your cart. If you order 6 packages your 2 free packages will automatically be included!
As promised, the Baker’s Dozen and I also have more inspiration to share today, Friday, AND Saturday with our newly released stamps. My project today uses the Wheely Great stamp set:
I started by stamping my own background paper with a border image from the Feelin’ Groovy set in Warm Red, Lime Pastel, Tangerine, and Sea Crystal. Then I decided on a layout from Jen’s Deconstructed Sketch #32. I used Spellbinders classic and scalloped circle and wonky rectangle. The car from Wheely Great was stamped in Warm Red and cut out with the coordinating die. To finish it off I added some red glimmer ribbon and a smiley face border sticker from Doodlebug.
