Baker’s Dozen Fond Farewells
Hey there! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and continue to enjoy the holidays! We’re definitely enjoying some time away from the snow on the beach in Del Mar. It has been beautiful!
Today I’m stopping by to say a fond farewell to some of the long-time members of the Baker’s Dozen. I am sincerely grateful to these women for joining me on this journey, sharing their creative talents, and helping Taylored Expressions grow over the past several years. And while they may no longer be part of the Baker’s Dozen, they’ll always be my friends and for that I am truly blessed.
These gals have been such an inspiration so as a little tribute to their fabulous creativity, I decided to pick one of my favorites from their amazing TE collections:
Jodi Collins won me over several years ago with her adorable cards using our beloved Cuppie. Her cards are always impeccably colored and beautifully layered. Jodi is an absolute joy to be around and I’ve loved getting to know her and her gorgeous family. Now if you’ve been reading Jodi’s blog for long then you know she has a slight obsession with affection for Edward from the Twilight series. So I thought it’d be fitting to share this card that Jodi made using Cuppie as a homage to Twilight:
Karen Giron has a knack for creating the most fabulous clean and simple cards! She also has a reputation for being hilariously quick-witted which has earned her the nickname ‘Sassy’ on the Baker’s Dozen. I’m definitely going to miss Karen’s fun creations, her sense of humor, and her love of the Best Ever Glue. *wink* Here’s one of my all-time favorite cards that Karen made. In fact, it was front and center in our latest ad in Cards Magazine!
I’ve always admired Melody Rupple’s shabby chic style and I was thrilled when she joined our design team! It has been so much fun to see her unique style using TE stamps. And I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with Melody on several occasions. She is just too sweet! And it makes sense that one of my all-time favorite cards that Melody has made is in her gorgeous shabby chic style:
Regina Mangum has brought her incredible 3D style to life using Taylored Expressions stamps for the last several years! If you subscribe to the TE Newsletter then I hope you read the announcement that Regina has taken a new position with TE as our Marketing & Social Media Coordinator. We’re thrilled to have her in this new role! She’ll also continue stamping with TE and participating in our releases as time allows. Here’s one of my favorite pop-up cards from Regina’s collection:
These talented ladies will definitely be missed! Thank you again for everything! (((HUGS))) Stop by their blogs to check out their personal favorites from their TE collection!
