Taylored Expressions + Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
Good morning! Today the Baker’s Dozen and I are teaming up with the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L design team to bring you lots of inspiration! If there’s one thing we all use a lot of in our craft room it’s adhesive. Everything from liquid glue to tape runners, glue dots, foam squares, and adhesive sheets. There’s a unique purpose for all of them. And Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L has great products to offer in the adhesive department. I tested out several adhesives along with Taylored Expressions dies on this wedding card:
I started with one of the 4×6 adhesive sheets and applied it to a piece of Snow White cardstock. Then I covered it with clear glitter so I had a shimmery white piece of paper. Then I used the Mr & Mrs Cutting Plate to die cut the panel from Snow White cardstock. I adhered the die cut piece over the top of the glittered cardstock with a combo of thin foam squares and E-Z dots tape runner.
Then I used another adhesive sheet to create a sticker from the Flamingo cardstock before die cutting. When you put these adhesive sheets on the paper before you die cut it creates a sticker sheet so that when you die cut all you have to do is peel the sticker backing off and adhere it to your project. Genius! And especially helpful on the Mr & Mrs that I trimmed from the full plate die cut. I also used the adhesive sheet with the Flowerbox Sprigs & Flowers die cut from Blossom paper (after backing with adhesive sheet).
And last, but not least, I decorated the inside of my card with the Majestic Border die and the Happily Ever After stamp set.
