Taylored Expressions October Spotlights: Shake It Up
Good morning! It’s Friday and you’ve almost made it to another weekend! It’s been a fun week here at Taylored Expressions with the release of our new holiday stamps and dies! Now I find myself in the mood to start my Christmas cookies and gifts although I think it might be a tad early to start baking. I suppose I could freeze the cookies after I bake them, right?
Well, instead of starting my holiday baking I decided to create another project as the Baker’s Dozen and I spotlight all of our new products released yesterday. You can find them all in our New category at the TE Store. Before I get to my project though, I have a couple videos to share with you. In the first video I share how to put together our new Sack It To You favor box and in the second video I show how to assemble the Mix & Match Bows! I hope you find these helpful!
For my project I used the new Baby, It’s Cold Outside stamp set, coordinating Shake It snow globe dies, and Bundled Up Project Pantry:
I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. Then I masked the snowman, stamped the swirls in the background with Versamark ink and embossed them in white embossing powder. With the snowman still masked I airbrushed the background with Copic. Then I die cut the circle with the Shake it Up die, added white liquid applique and adhered the base of the snow globe. The snowflake detail at the bottom left and top right was made using the Make a Snowflake dies.
Here are all the supplies I used on this card:
