Taylored Expressions December Sneak Peeks: Petite-a-Palooza Day 1
Hey there! I’m still shaking my head for the fact that it’s December already, but I’m excited to start sharing sneak peeks for our December release so I’ll set aside my shock at how quickly time is flying by and get to the goodies! This month we’re celebrating our 3rd annual Petite-a-Palooza! What’s Petite-a-Palooza? Each December we deliver big fun in petite packages and this year we’re making an extra large delivery with 14 new petite stamp sets that all come with coordinating dies!!
The talented Baker’s Dozen gals have been busy whipping up fabulous inspiration and we’re all excited to share! Today we’re sneaking peeks at 7 of these sets and tomorrow we’ll sneak peek the rest!
My first project uses the stamp Saddle Up stamp set. As I was working with our illustrators on the design process I was also in the middle of planning Madelyn’s 2nd birthday party. So I asked Emily to draw some cute cowgirl boots inspired by the boots that Madi wore at her party. That’s why I had to use this stamp set paired with all of our new Pockets & Pages dies to create the layouts for Madi’s birthday party!
I know this probably sounds cheesy, but I used to dread scrapbooking because it would take me FOREVER to design a layout and I just don’t have forever. Now that we have these Pockets & Pages products I’ve renewed my love for scrapbooking and I look forward to designing my little mini scrapbook pages and putting them all together into one big layout!
Here are all the products I used on these layouts:
For my second project I used the Light Up My Life set. This set is filled with fun lamp shade and lamp base stamps and dies to create the lamp of your dreams. Too bad it’s not this easy to find a cool lamp for our living room!
I used the trendy patterns and colors from the Echo Park Style Essentials 6×6 pad. The lamp base is embossed with gold embossing powder and then I airbrushed the light beneath the shade with Copic. I added a few other trendy embellishments like hemp cord and a heart shaped wood veneer piece to finish it off.
Here are all the supplies I used on this project:
Thanks so much for stopping by for our first day of sneak peeks! Each of our designers has a different combination of stamp sets for their sneak peeks so make sure you stop by and check ’em out!
