The T-List – April 2014
Once again our fabulous Baker’s Dozen designers have outdone themselves and provided us with jaw-dropping inspiration all week long! Today I’m recapping my top three favorite projects from this release in another edition of The T-List!
project by Courtney Kelley
Taylor’s Notes: Talk about a stroke of genius! This is one of those simple, clever uses of our stamps that Courtney Kelley is known for. I love that she used our new Stroke of Genius stamp set to create the backdrop for her sweet owl scene. Each stroke is perfectly placed, yet provides a seemingly random and artistic effect.
card by Shelly Mercado
Taylor’s Notes: Shelly’s use of the Sketched Blooms images is so stunning! She created the seamless feathered flowers by stamping the images in a light colored ink that is off-stamped onto scratch paper before stamping on the image panel. Such a simple technique with gorgeous results!
card by Wanda Guess
Taylor’s Notes: “Look mom… no coloring!” Wanda shows us how to create a beautiful card without the need for coloring! I love to color, but sometimes I’m under a time crunch and want a quick card. I typically reach for my bold stamp images during these times, but Wanda’s card has inspired me to look at my line stamps in a new way. They don’t have to be colored to be beautiful!
Thanks for tuning in for our April release week! All of our new products can be found in our New Product department. I hope you’re feeling inspired to share the joy of paper crafting with your friends and family!
