Taylor’s Expressions: Pen Pals Card Set
Happy Monday, crafty friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend! We enjoyed an Easter egg hunt on Saturday and church together on Sunday. And the Easter bunny visited us this weekend too! I just have to share a couple pics of our girls:

Charlee was especially excited about the pacifiers that the Easter bunny brought her! And watching Madi share her Easter eggs with the other kids at the egg hunt totally warmed my heart! Thanks for letting me share my ‘proud mommy’ pics!

Wonderful samples. My favorite memory was meeting my best friend in
high school whose locker was right next to mine in alphabet order.
Please contact us with your address and choice of stamp set and we’ll get your prize in the mail to you!
I also had a chance to play around in my stamp room last week! The Pink Paislee Pen Pals collection recently arrived on our shelves and I’ve been excited to try out the 3×4 cards and puffy stickers with some TE stamps and dies. Here’s the set of cards I created:
There are so many 3×4 cards available for pocket scrapbooking, and while I love creating pocket layouts, I wanted to take this product typically used for scrapbooking and create a set of cards using the 3×4 inserts paired with various TE stamps and dies.
For this card I took two of the 3×4 inserts and offset them. I stamped the red background and the bottom of the ‘thinking of you’ card with a border from the Certified Mail Art stamp set. The ‘sending you love’ sentiment is from Love Everywhere.
For this card I used portions of three different 3×4 cards. I embossed the ‘hello’ sentiment from Bugabee and added the envelope puffy sticker inside a punched circle. I stamped the flowers from Certified Mail Art onto the pink background with Versamark and finished it off with a few strips of white chevron washi tape.
For this last card I used a combo of the Fab Frames die and a couple more of the 3×4 cards. I die cut hearts from different patterns to match and stamped the background with a curly border stamp from Certified Mail Art. The arrow die is from Pocket & Pages – 2×2 Essentials dies.
I hope you’ll take a look at your 3×4 pocket inserts with new eyes and see how you can get creative with the stamps and dies in your collection to transform them into beautiful cards!
