It’s time for another edition of the T-List where I share three of my favorite projects created by our fabulous Baker’s Dozen design team from this month’s release. These girls are seriously SO creative! I’ve usually looked at the products on a computer screen and analyzed every little detail of them for months before they get in the hands of the Baker’s Dozen, and yet when it comes to using the products, these gals see and do things that I never would have considered. That’s what I love about creativity and inspiration!
Taylor’s Notes: Joan totally knocked my socks off with this project! How in the world did she look at the Houndstooth Cutting Plate and see little aliens!? All of the small details from the sponged aliens to the google eyes make this card out of this world (yes… pun intended)! Such a cute card and especially clever use for one of our new cutting plates!
Taylor’s Notes: I always take special note of projects that inspire me, and Kendra’s card inspired me to get out my neon inks and see if I could create something even half as fabulous as this card. I just love her use of color in the background and the pop of black. I’m a child of the 80’s, and perhaps that’s why I love this card so much. It reminds me of rollerskating with my neon legwarmers and matching scrunchie.
Taylor’s Notes: I was floored by Shelly’s seemingly simple and yet incredibly stunning use for the new Star Stacklets. Once again I felt inspired myself… I should really make more shaker cards! And she was resourceful in ‘recycling’ the tiny star cutouts from the American Flag Cutting plate to use as her shaker confetti. Gotta love that!
Thanks for tuning in for our May release week! All of our new products can be found in our
New Product department. Hope to see you here next week for more fun!
