Blog Design Team: Hello Fall!
Hey there, craft friends! We hope that those of you with the good fortune to enjoy a long weekend had a great time. For those of you for whom it was business as usual, we thought we’d share a mid-week pick-me-up from Blog Design Team member Kay Miller that will have you thinking of the crisp air and beauty of Fall.
temperatures and the beautiful colors of fall. This is my very favorite
time of year and I love making fall cards!
Kay’s Notes: I started off by cutting out a
white panel just 1/8 inch smaller than my white card base. I cut a cloud
out with the Cloud border die and used that to sponge the clouds in my
sky. Next I cut the beautiful green hills out with the Rolling Hills
dies and glued them down on my panel.
Kay’s Notes: Next I die cut all my trees, the
sun and the words and letters.
Kay’s Notes: I cut each letter and the Hello sentiment
out twice, and glued these together for a little extra dimension. I
adhered the words flat down to the panel and then used foam tape behind
the trees and sun to pop them up a bit. And last but not least, I
adhered the whole panel onto my white card base.
