Blog Design Team: Magic Could Be ANYWHERE!

Is there magic in the air, crafty friends? Around here, we are always on the lookout for fairy dust. Lucky for us, Blog Design Team member Isha Gupta has created a card that’s just full of it! Check it out…

And now, here’s Isha to tell us all about her project…

When you were a little girl, did you dream of Magic, Fairies, and Fairyland? Well I did and they
still fascinate me! So when I saw this Under the Flower stamp and die
set, I was drawn towards it and the little girl in me started playing
with it.

I love this sentiment in particular, which gave me the idea of a peek-a-boo card.
I
sponged some distress inks onto my cardbase. I love the soft and dreamy
feel of it. I cut a plain mat layer and then die-cut 3 windows from
it.

I then stamped the images, colored them with my Copic markers,
and die-cut them. I positioned the images and then stamped the
sentiments. Then I adhered the mat layer using 3D foam.

Once
everything was in place, I sponged the lower right corner to balance the
card front. Finally, it was time to adhere some pretty stars and sequins from
the Sweetheart Mix.

Now, how can a fairy theme card be complete
without some shine? I applied Clear wink of Stella to the images and the
flower. Then I applied it to the whole mat layer and it looks really
pretty in real life.
