Give These Plates a New Home! (Once they’re gone, they’re gone forever!)
Woo-hoo! It’s Tuesday! Why are we excited about it being Tuesday? Because every day is the perfect day to get crafty. Today, we’re sharing some of our favorite projects from our fab Creative Team that feature several of our retiring Cutting Plates — yes, we’re sorry to see them go, but we’re happy to see them find a new home and we’re making way for new and exciting products too boot! And, there are just a few days left to take advantage of extra savings during our Farewell SALE. Read on for more details!
Our much-beloved Cutting Plates cut beautiful backgrounds, can help create useful stencils, and are just terrific for tapping into your inner cutting queen.

This gorgeous card from designer Shelly Mercdo places our Proud Peacock Cutting Plate in front of a wonderfully inked ombre background. We love how the stark white really makes the inked background colors pop for a chic and modern design.

Amy’s fun card makes use of the little pieces that pop out of our Triangles Cutting Plate after die-cutting from watercolor paper. If you missed Amy’s wonderful tutorial on how she created this awesome card, you can still catch it HERE. She shares useful tips on how to use this versatile cutting plate for more than just backgrounds!

Our Square Block Cutting Plate is so much fun to play with, as designer Stephanie Kraft found when she played with patterned paper, stamps, and coloring on her die-cut cutie. Her sweet card makes use of all the panels for a card that looks like it took forever (but, the secret is that the cutting plate made it easy-peasy!)

Jen Shults created this perfect Fall card with our Houndstooth Cutting Plate and we love how you can really see how she used it to die-cut a stencil just primed for inking. Her rich, gorgeous background is done up in just the right, rich colors for Autumn and Thanksgiving.

Shelly made this darling card using our Blooming Hearts cutting plate in a textured grey cardstock that really picks up the sweet little penguin on her Love card. She also filled in a few of the die-cut hearts with glitter for a subtle, pretty color that is just the perfect touch!
