Spookiness Comes In Three’s
Hey there, spooky friends! Do you already have your costumes lined up for Halloween? Or, are you more of a stay at home and hand out candy kind of gal or guy? (Around here, the treats are usually gone well before Halloween. (Don’t even think about coming between Taylor and her Swedish Fish!) Today, we thought we’d share a trio of spook-tacular Halloween cards with you to get you in the mood for tricks and treats!
Keeping things clean, simple, and with a pop of fresh, Halloween-themed colors is the key to Jean’s success with this trio of cards! Adding little details takes them to a whole other level.
In her first card, Jean left a few of the die-cut windows from our Downtown Border intact while strategically placing some Candy Corn Cardstock behind the open ones for a ‘lit’ cityscape. Such a small detail, but it makes such a big difference!
Jean’s second card makes use of a pop of fresh orange color against a fun piece of patterned paper background. Her stitched elements are fun and she carries that over by adding just a big of orange ribbon around her orange panel.
Just a few strips of colored cardstock and some enamel dots really make Jean’s third card visually pleasing. It’s striking bold colors really make the silhouettes of the ravel and the cat stand out so much more!
We hope you enjoyed checking out these three awesome cards from Jean, today! You can find more of her work on her blog, Right as Rain.
