Love Week: My Heart is Preserved For YOU

Happy day to you, crafty friends! With Valentine’s Day almost upon us, we thought we’d get you in the mood to create a little love by celebrating creatively with Love Week this week on the TE Blog! To kick us off, Creative Team member Shelly Mercado is sharing an absolutely darling card she created with one of our favorite stamp and die combos. Check it out!

A Note from Shelly about her card…

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and who wouldn’t love a jar full of hearts? I used the Hugs & Kisses Stamp & Die Combo to create this CAS card that has a lot of sweetness packed into it, despite its simplicity.

I started by coloring the little jar and die-cutting it with the included die. Next, I colored in the hearts in different shades of pink and red and I attached the hearts from Hugs & Kisses Stamp & Die Combo, to the jar with foam tape and love how it pops.

I curved the sentiment stamp just a little bit (*TIP* Curve your rubber stamps a little to add a fun element to your projects!) to line up with the Skinny Mini Valentine Borders. The borders that come in this die set are all SO cute and I was happy I was finally able to narrow it down!
