Wreathed in Beauty
Happy first day of February! Our team is hard at work on our February Release next week and we can hardly wait to share their projects with you. In the meantime, we’ve got something lovely to share with you from our Creative Team Coordinator, Jen Shults. She took our Wreath Cutting Plate to new levels with this amazing Spring project. Check it out…
A Note from Jen about her project…
I just absolutely adore the Wreath Cutting Plate and I was inspired to make a card using it by our next door neighbors’ front door! I love that this cutting plate can be whimsical, cute or elegant just depending on what extras you add to it. To dress up the cutting plate I die cut the leaves out of Granny Smith cardstock and added some Copic marker detailing in addition to the floral cluster made using Bloomers 2 and Bloomers Greenery.
The Woodgrain embossed background has been sponged with a bit of Sugar Cube ink to give it that lovely old barn door feel. I left the front sentiment free so it could be used for any occasion just by stamping a sentiment on the inside when I’m ready to use it.
Thank you, Jen, for sharing this beautiful card with us today. For more of her work, visit Jen on her blog, Deconstructing Jen. Have a joyful day!
