A Little Cuppa Will Make it Better!
Hello, happy crafty friends! We hope your week has been a good one and today we are sharing a fun little project from Creative Team member Charmaine Ikach. She’s created a quick and easy way to dress up any gift card to your (or your java-lovin’ friend’s) favorite coffee house! Check it out!
A Note from Charmaine on her project…
Any time of the year, I’m always in need of some creative packaging for gift cards. Using the Joe To Go Stamp & Die Combo, I created this packaging for a Starbucks gift card. I used the Tag Pocket Die to create the pocket tag out of Chocolate Truffle cardstock.
Before assembling, I stamped the coffee bean from the set onto the inside of the pocket in Chocolate Truffle ink to create a subtle background, then assembled the pocket.
I die-cut the coffee cup using the coordinating dies from the set with Sugar Cube, Peapod, Earl Grey and Chocolate Truffle cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in Oreo ink onto a Granny Smith piece of cardstock and then die-cut that with the Stitched Circle Stacklets. The back panel was die-cut using the Stitched Square Stacklets with some Toffee cardstock. As a finishing touch, I added some coordinating ribbon and inserted the gift card!
Thank you so much, Charmaine, for sharing this cute project with us! For more of her work, visit her on her blog, Oodabug Alley.
