Fun with Felt Week: 3-D Felt Projects!
Happy Thursday, crafty friends! We hope you have been enjoying all the fun we’ve been having with FELT this week. Today, we are going to show off a few 3-D projects that our incredible designers whipped up. The first is a super sweet felt headband that Charmaine Ikach crafter for her super sweet daughter. Check it out…
A note from Charmaine about her project…
My daughters wear headbands all the time. It is a simple and easy way to “dress up” or just to make their “just woke up” hairdo look a little more tame! Taylored Expressions Felt is a terrific way to make a headband really wow.
I decided to use the Bloomin’ Stacklets 3 and Bloomin’ Accessories dies to create this flower to attach to a headband for my youngest. I used some fun colors of TE Felt for the flower including Flamingo, Cream Puff, Cherry Blossom, Honeydew and Heather Mint. There are SO many beautiful colors of felt to choose from!
After die-cutting and attaching all of the pieces together, I hot glued the flower to the headband. You can also create a pin or even an ornament with this flower! So many options and super easy!
What a cutie! (Would you look at that grin?) What little girl wouldn’t want a headband with a big, beautiful flower on it?!
Thanks so much, Charmaine, for sharing this project with us today! We hope you are inspired to craft something wonderful in felt. Still on the fence?…
