Hello, Crafty Friend!
Hello, crafty friends! I hope your week has gotten off to a good start. Before I introduce you to today’s beautiful card, have you checked out our Farewell Retirement Sale? These sale items are dwindling in number, so be sure to head over there when you get a chance to check things out! You’ll get limited time extra savings if you hurry, too.
Notes from Charmaine…
I always love to use flowers on a card. They are good for nearly any occasion. For this card, I used the Fresh Florals set to create a “hello” card. I started by stamping the different florals and leaves onto the card base in Cookie Monster, Granny Smith, Lemon Meringue and Salt Water Taffy inks. Next, I cut a 1.25″ x 4.25″ piece of Sugar Cube cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Oreo ink. I mounted that to the card base with foam tape. Then I started stamping the different florals and leaves onto Sugar Cube cardstock and die-cut them with the Fresh Florals Dies, arranging them on as well below the sentiment panel to give some depth and interest to the card.
Snow Flurries Sequins added some nice sparkle as well. To balance out the sentiment, I added a thin panel of Oreo cardstock to the bottom edge of the card front. I love the finished product; the levels between flowers and panels really adds some extra interest to the card.
Thank you, Charmaine, for sharing this lovely card with us! Who wouldn’t love receiving this card? Who would you send it to?
