Clearly Planned Sneak Peek Day 1: You’re an A+ Grownup!
Happy Monday, crafty friends! It’s a very happy Monday because we have brand new Clearly Planned stamps and dies releasing this week! Our first new set is called A+ Grown Up and it’s one of my favorites of the new release. I love adding a bit of humor to my planner pages and this set does that with it’s tongue-in-cheek, pat-yourself-on-the-back sentiments!
Clearly Planned Design Team member Tricia Schaden created this super cute monthly layout using A+ Grown Up. I love the color combo she chose and the use of washi tape as an accent.
Tricia used the ‘high five’ image to highlight her ‘Fab 5 Dinner’ — I just love it when a stamp image can be used for different things!
I really like how Tricia used the included trophy image, replacing the #1 with the word “Goals” and creating a special place just waiting to be filled in for the month. And the sentiment is a hoot and should keep her motivated!
How cute is the award ribbon that Tricia used to mark the month? I just know it’s a winner of a month for her — there is also a coordinating die available for this image, which would also make darling stickers! And the thumbs up over the swim awards is just perfect!
Check out A+ Grown Up below. What’s your favorite sentiment? For me it’s a toss up between “I almost went to the gym” and “I adulted today!” (They might be a little too close to home, wink! wink!)
Next up is Adorable Autumn (which, as I mentioned, is up for Double Crafty Points!) and it’s a sweet way to add a bit of Fall fun to your layouts. Let’s check out Shelly Mercado’s monthly spread:
I love Shelly’s simple additions using this set. The wee leaves (using Little Bits – Leaves) are just the right touch for these cute images.
Shelly used the coordinating Adorable Autumn dies to easily create little stickers to color and add to her layout.
LOVE that happy little acorn!
Isn’t Tricia’s use of the apple image to mark the first day of school clever?
Now for all you card-making fans, I’ve got a card to share with you from Creative Team member Melody Rupple. It may just be the happiest card you have ever seen!
Melody used our Sunshine Cutting Plate, laying it over a sponged background to really make the sun pop. I really love how she placed the three sunflowers from Adorable Autumn on our Build a Scene Rolling Hills, just as if they were growing from the ground and bursting into bloom!
