Tricks & Treats Week: Dressed Up Treats!
A big boo to you, crafty friends! We are just coming off of the biggest Release of the year last week with our super fun holiday/Christmas release of new stamps, dies, and more — so now I think we deserve a little treat, a creative Halloween treat, that is! This week, I’m going to share some fun ways to dress up your Boo-Day treats and also some cute ways to trick out your haunted abode for this shivery holiday. Today, I’ve got Shannon White with a terrific project to help you hand out treats at work or school. Check it out…
Notes from Shannon about her project…
I know I have said this before, but I will say it again: I just LOVE all of TE’s Treat Topper Dies because they are just so darned versatile and so super cute, too! Trust me, they’re not just for topping cupcakes; you can use them on cards, tags and fun little treat holders like these I whipped up for my co-workers this year for Halloween.
I started off by die-cutting all my Halloween Treat Toppers from TE’s Peapod, Candy Corn and Jelly Donut Matched Premium Cardstock that I then adhered to Totally Tag Die cuts. I popped them up with a bit of foam tape onto my Treat Holder bases, which were created with the help of the Tuck and Close Notecard Die, embossed with TE’s Tangled Web Embossing Folder. For more color, I used TE’s Playful Patterns Haunted 6×6 Paper Pack for trim. Then all that was left to do was to add my treats! This year, I chose yummy fun-size M&M packs, each secured with a glue dot so they stay put till they are ready to be opened and enjoyed..Happy Haunting!
Thanks so much, Shannon, for sharing this quick and easy way to dress up treats to hand out to sweet-toothed co-workers! I hope you will all come back tomorrow for more spooky goodness. Have a joyful day!
