Happy Wednesday, crafty friends! If you joined me yesterday, you know that all this week I am sharing some pretty special projects from our Creative Team — Advent Calendars! Today, Kim Singdahlsen is showing off a darling advent calendar she created and I know you’ll think it’s just as cute as I do! Check it out…

Kim found a super cute styrofoam hanger at her local craft store and built her advent calendar around it. Kim die-cut twelve boxes with our Matchbox Die from Sugar Cube Cardstock to go along with her candy cane theme, knowing that she would be crafting with our Clearly Planned – Candy Cane Numbers stamps to create numbers for her boxes. She also used our recently-released Matchy collection of dies, like this cute Santa, below, and our Matchy Elf and Matchy Rudolph, above.

Kim also used our Make a Snowflake dies to create quick and easy snowflakes to simply embellish her boxes. She adhered all her boxes on some wide, polka-dot ribbon and hung them using her found candy cane!

The best part of Kim’s advent calendar is that she turned it into a super fun scavenger hunt! By printing out clues for each day, she sent her family on a merry chase all over her house in search of treats, like in the box below. Kim explained that the dancing reindeer refers to a singing reindeer that is a family favorite! She added little peppermints from our Sweet Season stamp and die combo.
