Happy Mail Week: Send it Snail Mail
Hey there, crafty friends! I’m back today with to share some fun projects by our Creative Team featuring envelopes! Do you decorate and embellish your envelopes? I don’t think I realized just how fun envelopes can be until we released our Merry Mail 1 and Merry Mail 2 sets in October and, more recently, our Snail Mail stamp set and Scalloped Envelope Liner die. When I saw the envelopes that designer Noriko Fairchild created with Snail Mail, I knew I couldn’t wait to share more about them here on the Blog. Check them out…
Noriko used our recently released Snail Mail stamp set to dress up her plain white TE Envelopes, coloring with Copic markers. Can you just picture the recipient lighting up when these are spotted among all the bills and junk mail? Plus, Noriko will be bringing a smile to the hard-working mail carriers and postal workers who spend countless hours delivering and sorting mail! Here are a few close-ups:
Noriko used our Scalloped Envelope Liner to easily die-cut patterned paper liners for her envelopes. She used our new Playful Patterns 6×6 Paper Pack for some bright, cheery linings. I love the clever way she split the snail image apart to insert the address label image over the two halves.
How darling is that little bird in the example above? And the mail truck’s heart exhaust adds so much joy and movement to the front of this envelope!
I love how she stamped the “Sealed with Love” image across the seal of the envelope. SO cute!
Thank you, Noriko, for sharing such a sweet way to embellish your envelopes. I hope you will drop back in tomorrow as I show off some fun ways to decorate your envelopes for the holidays. Have a joyful day!
