Gift Card Gifting Week: A Gorgeous Pocket
Happy, happy Tuesday, crafty friends! Are you all shopped out from a weekend of Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals? We want to thank everyone who stopped by the TE Web Store to do a bit of shopping and we hope you will share what you create with your new goodies on our Facebook Page or in our Fans Group!
Here’s a fun fact: Did you know that nearly 75% of adults will purchase a gift card for someone during the holiday season? Sometimes, even if you know for sure someone would love a gift card to a particular store, it just doesn’t seem as special as a wrapped present, does it? We thought we’d share some cool ways to dress up boring gift cards to make them more joyful. Today, designer Jean Manis has got a gorgeous way to give a gift card and we’ve got a FREE downloadable instruction sheet to help you get started on your gift card giving, too!
Jean used our Wicker Pocket die to cut this cute basket (hint: it’s also great for Easter, too!) She stamped off some pretty holiday foliage using our Holiday Florals stamp set and die-cut the images using the coordinating dies. I love how she used some metallic ink alongside a bit of metallic twine for a glamorous touch! Can’t you just hear the gasps of delight over this gorgeous pocket?
Now you can download Jean’s step-by-step instructions to re-create her lovely project! Simply click on the image below. Join me on the Blog again tomorrow for another cool idea to help dress up your gift cards!
