Thoughts & Prayers Week: Feel Better Soon
Hello, crafty friends! We are just coming off of our very last Release of the year and we wanted to say thank you to everyone who visited us here on the Blog and on Facebook to check out all the new Valentine’s goodies we debuted last week. It’s definitely flu season and few of our team members have been down for the count with illness and so we thought this week would be a good time to take a look at some wonderful ‘Get Well’ projects from our Creative Team to give anyone out there with a cold a boost.
Today we’ve got a cute and quick ‘Get Well’ card from designer Shelly Mercado. Check it out…
Notes from Shelly about her project…
It seems like I can never have enough get well cards on hand and I like to build my stash when I’m able to. I used Little Bits Bandage and die cut them from Sugar Cube Cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. Little Bits Love Confetti has hearts that fit perfectly in the center of the bandages and I love the color they add.
I added a few more hearts and finished the card by using my MISTI to stamp the sentiment from the Souper Soon stamp & die combo.
Don’t you just love the way Shelly colored the bandages? I was a really clumsy kid and my legs were always covered in these things, though they were definitely not as cute as Shelly’s! Do you have a sick friend who could use a little boost? I hope they feel better soon! Tomorrow, I’ll be featuring some cards for that hardest of occasion: sympathy. I hope you will tune in.
