Resolutions Week: Design a Life You LOVE
Hey there, crafty friends! If you’ve joined me this week, you know that I’ve been featuring projects to help you with your diet and fitness resolutions for 2018. I’m switching gears a little today to explore resolutions of a more creative nature. Do you have a crafty resolution for this year? Do you plan to create and send more cards (and share joy!)? If you are a scrapbooker, do you plan on some crafty catch-up on the events from last year (or the last few years)?
Or, maybe, you aren’t quite sure yet. You know you want to be crafty, but sometimes being creative can feel a bit overwhelming. How about trying a new coloring technique? Try CASE-ing (“Copy And Share Everything”) a project that has caught your eye. Check out Pinterest or a TE Video! Either way, you’ll want to design a creative life that’s tailored to you. When I saw the above card by Jen Shults, it reminded me that it’s easy to get caught in a crafty rut. Take some time to reflect on how you want to express yourself in 2018!
Creative Team members Jen Shults and Melody Rupple crafted these lovely cards using our When Your Heart Speaks and A Life She Loved stamp set and coordinating dies. Is your passion cardmaking? Painting? Knitting? Whatever your creative endeavor, do it with LOVE.
I love the sentiment on this card by Jen Shults and I think it sums up what I hope to accomplish this year, both in life and in my crafting. Our motto here is to “share joy” and I think that includes sharing joy with oneself. If it isn’t joyful, it may not be worth doing!
If you are looking for more crafty inspiration for all your resolutions, be sure to check out this week’s TE Newsletter HERE.
What are your crafty resolutions? I hope you’ll share them with us!
