Kids at Heart Week: Interactive Little Love Bugs
Hey there, crafty friends! As promised, I’m back with another round of super-cute, kid-friendly V-Day cards to help inspire you to create for all the little kiddos in your life. Today, I’m re-visiting a pair of favorite projects from Creative Team alum Kerri Michaud and current team member Kim Singdahlsen. The first is a really sweet interactive Valentine that Kerri created using our Bugs & Kisses stamp and die combo and Mason Jar. Kerri started by creating the pocket with our Tag Pocket die, adding that cute little bug to a Stitched Heart Stacklet die-cut. I love how she glittered up the wings!
Below, you’ll see how Kerri used our Tag Stacklets die as the pull-out portion of the card, adding the Mason Jar that she cut out with the coordinating die. Putting the spider inside is so perfect! I know this fun card would bring a smile to a little one’s face for sure!
Next up, Kim Singdahlsen used the same Bugs & Kisses stamp set and Mason Jar stamp and die on this adorable shaker card. I love the Swiss Hearts Embossing Folder background and the little bug she added to the card is so perfect for the sentiment she chose. I think kids love a good shaker card and this one from Kim is simple, yet sweet!
Remember to come back tomorrow for our new product announcement! And on Friday, I’ll be sharing V-Day projects for those in-betweeners: teenagers! Have a joyful day!
