February 2018 Release Countdown Day 2: Hello Spring
Good morning, crafty guys and gals! It’s Taylor here and I’m back for Day 2 of our February Release Countdown! Today I have more Spring and Easter themed products to share with you and everything will be available for purchase at the TE webstore starting on Thursday, February 8th at 9 am CST. So let’s get started!
Yesterday I mentioned that we have a Crafty Points promotion with every new release and this month’s special offer features the Floral Frenzy stamp set and coordinating dies. I’ll be sharing more projects using these beautiful flowers tomorrow, but below is the info you need to know about the special offer. If you’re not a member of our Crafty Points Loyalty Program it’s super quick and easy to join. Find all the info right here and start earning points on all of your purchases!
So the first new product I’d like to share with you today is not a stamp or a die! What!? Yes, it’s true! TE has some awesome pre-printed products just ready and waiting for you to add color. We launched our Frame-worthy collection of home decor prints last fall and we’re proudly adding to the collection with a Spring themed version. The illustrations are pre-printed on our 100 lb. Sugar Cube cardstock making them perfect for coloring with alcohol markers or pencils. Each package included four unique prints that are trimmed to 8″ x 10″ making it quick and easy to add to a standard frame.
I also recorded a quick coloring video to share how this one came together. While it’s not a technique video, I do find it incredibly relaxing to watch these sped-up coloring videos and thought you might like it too! Included in the video are the specific Copic colors I used on this project so you can grab them from your own stash and color away!
Next up is a similar product, our popular Watercolor Panels! These illustrations have slightly different sentiments with the idea that each 3×4 watercolor panels are sized appropriately to be used for a card creation. Each package includes 12 panels (3 each of 4 designs) pre-printed on 118lb. watercolor paper… just add color! Below, Melody also shows off our newest addition to the collection of stamps designed to make your envelopes shine!
And don’t forget to add the coordinating envelopes to your collection! We’ve just added envelopes in colors to match our Sweet Cardstock collection and coordinate with the new Playful Patterns – Sweet 6×6 Paper Pack. You’ll see the fun patterns in this Sweet paper pack sprinkled in throughout the release projects so keep an eye out to see how designers incorporated them with our new stamps and dies:
Continuing down the road of pre-printed products, I can’t wait to share our new set of Boxed In Basics with you! I love the look of doodled borders, however, border stamps sized to fit an A2 card would end up being quite expensive. With the Boxed In Basics, you get a great variety of borders already printed and ready to use. Each package includes 12 panels (2 each of 6 unique designs) printed on our 100 lb. Sugar Cube cardstock. Plus, we have designed stamp sets specifically to work inside the doodled borders for quick and cute cards.
If you like Bubble Greetings – Spring and Boxed in Basics 2, then make sure you check out the Bubble Greetings stamp set and original Boxed in Basics panels!
Just a couple more things on today’s list of featured products. Wouldn’t you agree, there’s just something wonderful about a good spring rain? Out with the old and in with the new, the fresh smell of dirt, the beauty of a rainbow, and the sound of the pitter patter on the rooftop. Plus, I love the spring fashions that go along with the rain too like a cute umbrella and stylish galoshes! Our Rain or Shine collection attempts to capture everything wonderful about the rain.
And one more favorite using these products + the Rainbow Cutting Plate because who can resist a rainbow!? Obviously not me! *grin*
And last but not least, we have something special for an oft-forgotten spring holiday, St. Paddy’s Day. But with the addition of this cute stamp and die combo I will forget no more! Fun fact of the day: It’s Paddy…. not Patty. For years I spelled it “Patty” as in Patrick, but alas, I learned something new! My 6-year old would be so proud as she tells me daily “I already know everything, mom.” I know… she’s 6 going on 16 and has a lot to learn!
This card is filled with amazing detail so take a closer look to make sure you didn’t miss anything; specifically the ombre shades of shamrocks in the background. Until I saw this card, I didn’t quite realize we have FIVE shades of green ink and Noriko used them all together so fabulously. Check out Mint Julep, Key Lime, Granny Smith, Peapod, and Sweet Basil on gloriously green display!
So that’s it for Day 2 of sneak peeks! Hopefully, you’ve seen something to inspire your next project! I’ll have more to share with you tomorrow, but in the meantime, In the meantime, check out my Question of the Day and leave a comment for a chance to win a prize!
My Question of the Day is… What’s your favorite part of a rainy day? Leave your comment before Wednesday, February 7th. One comment per person. Each comment will also be entered into our Grand Prize drawing for a $50 gift certificate! Winners will be chosen at random and announced on the TE Blog on Thursday, February 8th.
In celebration of our ready-to-color products, I’m giving away {Frame-Worthy} Easter, Watercolor Panels – Easter, and Boxed In Basics 2!
