Welcome to the TE Team!
Hey there, crafty friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family, friends, and food! I love Thanksgiving weekend – four full days to cozy up with our little family. We watched movies, played games, baked cookies, put up decorations and made a few trips – rollerskating, bounce houses, science center. It’s the little things that mean the most and I am grateful!
Today I’m excited to introduce you to some new faces you’ll be seeing here at Taylored Expressions in the coming months and years! I’m thrilled to be expanding our team and to have the opportunity to design, develop, create, and inspire alongside these talented women!
Heather Nichols is a familiar face in the craft industry and I am so happy to welcome her to the TE team! She joins us after spending several years with PaperTreyInk, inspiring others with her unique illustrations and beautiful projects. Fun fact: Heather and I were on the inagural PTI team together! Her love of Kraft cardstock (a.k.a. Toffee cardstock in TE-land) is well-known to all and I can’t wait to see all the ‘krafty’ inspiration she comes up with using our products! In addition to joining our Creative Team, Heather will also be joining our product development team to bring her fresh and fun style to you in the form of new stamps & dies, and you’ll be hearing from her regularly here (starting tomorrow!) as the two of us tag-team writing on the TE blog.
You’ll also want to follow along as Heather shares both life and crafts on her blog, Pine is Here, and her Instagram, pinefeather.
As a new member of our Creative Team, Jill Hawkins brings her bright, cutesy style, and her love of Copic markers (#useallthecolors) to the team! She’s also a wiz with her sewing machine and often incorporates the most adorable stitched details on her cards. Trust me – I’ve seen what she’s been up to using the new December Release products and you’re going to love it! I also had the pleasure of meeting Jill at our 2017 Stamp Joy event where she volunteered and I can guarantee that you’ll not only love her projects – you’ll love her too!
Follow Jill and her crafty happenings on her blog, Fastest Turtle (Jill, I’m going to need an explanation of that blog title!), and her Instagram, jilldhawkins.
I was excited to connect with Angelica Conrad at JunkieFest in Minneapolis last summer. As a fairly new cardmaker (less than 2 years!), she has taken the stamping industry by storm! Her often simple style shines bright with the beautiful backgrounds she creates and the flawlessly colored images that often take center stage on her cards. You’ll also find she has a way with watercolor and I cannot wait for you to see what’s she’s been up to with our liquid watercolor for the December Release! Angelica can be found in her craftroom with the most adorable toddler by her side – I’m not sure how she accomplishes anything, but her sweet little girl must provide some super mojo for mama!
Tune in to Angelica’s crafty life on her blog, My Love For Paper, and her Instagram, myloveforpaper.
As I mentioned, these gals, and the rest of our talented creative team have been busy creating for our December Release! Sneak peeks start on Monday, December 3rd, and here’s a look at just a few snippets. Plus, don’t forget to tune in tomorrow as Heather kicks off a fun-filled week of crafting Christmas tags!
