Hey, crafty friends! I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend and are staying warm in this cold weather that has been sweeping across the country. We have a few extra days off of school this week here in Minnesota because of the cold and so I am making my list of projects I want to work on. Being tucked inside, out of the cold and working on cozy, crafty projects is one of my favorite parts of the winter season.

I have more notecard creating inspiration to share with you today so you can build up your card stash. Having a healthy card stash enables you to send out a little joy at a moments notice. Today, TE Creative Team member Gayatri Murali has a collection of cards created with the Big Blooms collection to share – let’s take a look!

How gorgeous are the blooms on these cards? This collection would be stunning packaged together to give as a gift! I love how Gayatri used bright, bold colors as well as soft, pastel colors to create different effects. All of the card use the same basic layout and techniques, but just a change of color makes a huge difference.

All of the blooms are embossed on Sugar Cube cardstock and then inked to coordinate with the card base and envelope color. The bright cards have a background created with the Lattice Frame Cutting Plate die cut from gold foil cardstock and the pastel cards have a background created with the Ornate Frame Cutting Plate die cut from silver foil cardstock. Gayatri added sentiments using the Be Still stamp set embossed on vellum and layered over the blooms.
