Hey, crafty friends! When you have some shiny new crafting supplies isn’t it the best to share them with your friends? I love my stamping buddies and we are always enabling each other in one way or another!

We shared our new products from the May Mini-Release at Taylored Expressions with a few of our stamping friends and we are absolutely loving the fun projects that they have been creating! This card was created by the talented Mindy Eggen using the new Dadisms stamp set and we are excited to share it with you on the blog today. Watch the Mindy’s video below to see how her project came together.

Make sure you watch until the very end of the video as Mindy shares another card design that she created with the Cap Lock – Dad die and Dadisms stamp set.

Mindy’s ink blended background with the Shattered stencil is beautiful and so easy to do! You can do the technique that she used with any of the stencils that we carry in the Taylored Expressions webstore. Adding the sentiment from the Dadisms stamp set onto a cardstock strip is a perfect way to pair it with the Caps Lock – Dad die cut on your projects.

Next, I have another project to share created by Taylor with the Dadisms stamp set.

I just love the scene that Taylor created and this sentiment is one that would be perfectly suited for my Dad! Taylor created the night time camping scene using ink blending paired with the Twinkle Twinkle Background stamp embossed in white for the sky, the Build a Scene – Lakeside die collection for the trees and teepee, and the Build a Scene – Rolling Hills die collection for the ground.

The “Dad” is die cut from the background and then popped up just a bit with a few more layers die cut with the Caps Lock – Dad die for an eclipse effect. Taylor then added the “he likes starry skies…” sentiment embossed onto a cardstock strip at the bottom of the scene.
