Hey, crafty friends! With Halloween coming near, it’s time to gather ideas for some sweet and spooky fun. One spooktacular idea to try incorporating into your Halloween crafting is interactive cards!

Taylor has an interactive Halloween card to share with you today that uses the new Gatefold Reveal 2 die collection. The die collection offers a fun way to send an interactive message in your handmade cards. It includes a die with scalloped outer edges surrounding a circular frame for the inside of the card as well as a die that is used for the sliding reveal mechanism. Taylor will show you how to assemble the gatefold reveal style card and spook it up for Halloween in the video below:

This gatefold reveal card features a background created with the Spider Web Cutting Plate die as well as some spooky spiders crawling by the “boo to you” sentiment from the Handlettered Halloween stamp set. To open the card, slide the sentiment band off the card and then open the flaps…

As you open the card, a spooky group of ghosts from the Sweet & Spooky stamp set is revealed as the black flags uncover them. It’s too much fun opening and closing the card to see the reveal mechanism in action!
