I created this card using my new Birthday Basics stamp set. I created a fun and colorful background by stamping some of the different birthday images in rows and then adding fun details and touches. In the video, I share a few tips and tricks on stamping a background like this on your next project.

I used the Confetti Toss stencil and applied Moonstone Glimmer Paste through it to add a whole bunch of sparkle and texture to my project. And, of course, what is the perfect type of sentiment to add to a busy background like this? Simple Strips! I stamped the new Simple Strips – Birthday stamp onto coordinating cardstock colors with Sugar Cube ink and then added the die cut strips over different rows on my background design. I made sure to put the colored strips on a contrasting colored row so that they would pop on my project!
