Thank You For Caring for the World!
Hey, crafty friends! How are all of you today? It was Earth Day yesterday and caring for our world takes on a whole new meaning this year, doesn’t it? We are all doing our part to keep our friends and family safe and healthy. We are so thankful for health card workers and other heroes that are taking care of the people who are sick. I have a project to share today from Taylor that is perfect to thank those health care workers that are out there working hard everyday and saving lives during the COVID-19 crisis.
We introduced the new Mini Strips – Life Saver stamp that you can purchase now in the Taylored Expressions webstore. If you don’t have the coordinating Mini Strips or Mini Strips – Asymmetrical dies, then you will want to take advantage of this current promotion:
When you purchase the Mini Strips – Life Saver stamp, you can get 10% off the coordinating Mini Strips or Mini Strips – Asymmetrical dies now through Sunday, April 26th. CLICK BELOW to shop for the Mini Strips – Life Saver stamp in the Taylored Expressions webstore.
Watch the video below to see how Taylor created her thank you card using the new Mini Strips – Life Saver stamp along with die cuts and blending through a stencil:
In the video Taylor show you how she created the globe that is bandaged with love for the front of her card, added blended stenciling to a portion of her background, and used the new Mini Strips – Life Saver to add her sentiments. Taylor also shares how she customized the inside of her card using a few of the same design elements.
Taylor used the Whole Wide World die collection for the globe on the front of her card and the bandage is created using the Little Bits – Bandage dies. She added a red enamel heart to the center of the bandage and it’s the perfect finishing touch!
On the inside of Taylor’s card, she repeated the stenciled background and used a sentiment from the Mini Strips – Life Saver set along with a stethoscope die cut with the Little Bits – Stethoscope die and another red enamel heart.
You could mass produce this card design pretty easily and while the inside makes this card perfect for health care workers, you could use the front card design to thank other heroes that are working hard to stock shelves, deliver packages, educate our kids, and more.
We want to thank our health care workers and YOU can help! We are doing a TE Cares Card Drive April 21st – May 15th. Check out all of the details below:
