The project I am sharing today features the Balloon Bouquet Cling & Clear stamp set and the Balloon Bouquet Additions Clearly Crafty stamp set (+ coordinating dies) Watch the video below to see how I put this card together in three different color combinations:
In the video, I share how I stamped the main Balloon Bouquet image and add a confetti filled background using my MISTI. I share how I stamped the Balloon fill images to add to the main bouquet image and different color combination ideas.
Here’s a closer look at the products that I used on my project:
Introducing the new Balloon Bouquet Cling & Clear Combo stamp set. The set includes a red rubber stamp featuring the bouquet of balloons as well as a small clear set with the two solid ballon fill images.
The Clearly Crafty Balloon Bouquet Additions stamp set (+ coordinating dies) includes patterned balloon fill options for the Balloon Bouquet set. Add a sentiment banner to your project to send congratulations or birthday wishes and don’t forget the confetti!
Instead of stamping the balloon fills directly on the main bouquet image, I cut them out with the coordinating dies and popped them up over the corresponding balloon sizes. A great part about this card design is how easy it is to customize your birthday card for the recipient!
Here are the color combinations I shared in the video: Cookie Monster, Granny Smith, and Candy Corn; Plum Punch, Guava, and Pineapple; and then a combination of all of the colors for a rainbow bouquet!
The sentiments are stamped on the banner image from the Balloon Bouquet Additions stamp set. The set includes seven different sentiments designed to fit into the banner to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion!
Check out the list below for all of the supplies that I used on this project:
Here’s more inspiration from members of the TE Creative Team as well as a closer look at a few more of the new products that are available to purchase today for our 12th birthday celebration!
Melody Rupple did a Mini Slim size for this birthday card that features the Birthday Bouquet Cling & Clear stamp set along with the Balloon Bouquet Additions stamp set (+ coordinating dies). I love how Melody made her bouquet of balloons even fuller by layering extra balloons over the image that are popped up just a bit with foam tape. She added a sentiment onto the banner image from the Balloon Bouquet Additions stamp set embossed in white on Blueberry cardstock. For a fun and whimsical finishing touch, Melody added the Bits & Pieces – Clear Drip Drops scattered throughout the balloon images.
Natasha Valkovskaya tipped the balloons from the Balloon Bouquet stamp set at an angle to make them look like they are blowing in the wind! She added the colored balloons using the coordinating solid fills that are cut out with the coordinating die cuts. My favorite is the patterns that are added to the balloons with a white gel pen – so fun!
Laurie Willison used the patterned balloons from the Balloon Bouquet Additions stamp set (cut out with the coordinating dies) on their own for this birthday card and added the balloon strings with a black pen. I love the cloudy sky background that Laurie created with the Set the Scene – Clouds Stencil Strips set and how she added confetti that looks like it’s flying out from behind the balloons!
We all fell in love with Max & Millie earlier this spring and Millie is returning to help celebrate our birthday in the new Millie’s Birthday Bash stamp set (+ coordinating dies)! The set includes four Millie images and four birthday treat themed sentiments.
Melody Rupple did another Mini Slim sized card with Millie’s Birthday Bash set. She cut out a window with the dies from the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Square set from the card base and card front layer to get a layered window look on a traditional side fold card. The image of Millie and her cake fit perfectly in the window! I love the colorful background on the front of the card that Melody created with the Mini Slim – On the Dot stencil.
Jen Shults and her coloring skills always amaze me and this card is no exception! Jen colored the Millie sitting on the cupcake image three times with Copic markers and added them to her card front that features a confetti background stamped using the Balloon Bouquet Additions stamp set. I love how she used the Masking Stencils – Rectangles set along with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets dies to create a fun frame effect!
Jill Hawkins brought the confetti to Millie’s Birthday Bash with this sweet shaker card! The shaker element on the card is created with the dies from the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Square set. Jill stamped confetti in the background of the shaker using the Balloon Bouquet Additions stamp set and filled it with several Bits & Pieces embellishments: Rainbow Sprinkles, Sparkly Stars, and Full of Heart. She topped the shaker off with the cute image of Millie and her cake!
The new Life of the Party stamp set (+ coordinating dies) includes four cute critters ready to celebrate, six birthday themed sentiments, and a bit of confetti. This set is designed to work perfectly with our Mini Slim Trifold cards, but as you’ll see from all the samples, they work great on projects of any kind and size.
Kevin Bray stamped the lion image from the Life of the Party stamp set several times to create a fun pattern and colored everything in with Copic markers. He cut out the image for his card using a circle die and I love how the sentiment is added onto the notched banner strip at the top of the circle! You could replicate this fun card design with any of the animals from the set.
Arjita Sepaha Singh gathered several of the animals from the Life of the Party stamp set together to celebrate! Arjita let her coloring skills shine and I love the highlight details that she added with a white gel pen. The background of the card is stamped repeatedly with sentiments from the new Tag Team – Birthday stamp set using Sugar Cube ink on Toffee cardstock and the main sentiment that Arjita used is from the new All Tucked In – Birthday stamp set.
Annette Allen invited several giraffes together for a party from the Life of the Party stamp set. She colored the images with Copic markers and added polka dot details with a white gel pen. I love the balloons and confetti stamped behind the giraffes and how Annette added burlap twine for the balloon strings. Her sentiment is added to a strip of Plum Punch cardstock with Oreo ink.
