Crafty Cuteness for Christmas!
Hey, crafty friends! Happy December! (What?!) Can you even believe that that the end of 2020 is almost here? Entering the month of December puts us into full holiday mode and if you are a crafter that involves kicking things into high gear! The paper scraps and glitter will certainly be flying at my craft table as I finish up cards and tags to deliver to my loved ones.
Today, I have Christmas crafty cuteness from the TE Creative Team to share with you. I hope you are inspired by their completely cute projects!
Let’s start things off with this card featuring a collection of cute Santas created by Arjita Sepaha Singh. She stamped a piece of watercolor paper with the background stamp from the St. Nick Cling & Clear Combo set and used her watercolor paints to color in their cute faces. I love that she did a rainbow of colors for the Santa hats and the painted gray background really makes the Santas stand out! To add the sentiment, Arjita embossed ‘ho! ho! ho!’ in white onto a strip of Oreo cardstock, notched one end of the strip with her scissors, and then added it to the card.
Kevin Bray used two of the main stars from our newest Christmas stamp sets on his cute Mini Slim Christmas card: Gus from the Gus & Gertie Holiday Adventure stamp set and Millie from the Merry Millie stamp set. These two make the perfect holiday team to get Santa’s gifts delivered! Kevin created a snowbank on his card for Gus & Millie and then added a sentiment and snowflakes using the Tag Team – Christmas stamp set.
If you know Jill Hawkins, you know she is always ahead of the game when it’s getting things done on her todo list. Her cute card is perfect for sending a thank you for Christmas gifts! If you have your holiday cards done, this is a great project to work on next. She created a colorful background using the Backstory – Christmas Background stamp paired with the Masking Stencils – Hexagons set. It’s the perfect backdrop for the reindeer and his gift pile from the Fluffy Friends – Holiday stamp set. The sentiment, from the Mini Strips – Holiday stamp, is embossed in white on Oreo cardstock and cut out with the coordinating Mini Strips die.
Gayatri Murali paired the Merry Millie stamp set with the sentiment from The Light Shine stamp set to create her cute Christmas card. She stamped the sentiment in Oreo ink over a background created by doing a color blend with her Blender Brushes and then stenciling over the top with Sugar Cube ink using the Mini Slim – Sunray stencil. I love the effect of stenciling with white ink over colors! She added Millie and her reindeer friend decorating their Christmas tree along with lots of sparkly rhinestones.
Today you saw the cutest inspiration using the St. Nick Cling & Clear Combo set, the Gus & Gertie Holiday Adventure stamp set, the Merry Millie stamp set, and the Fluffy Friends – Holiday stamp set. Which project and/or stamp set is your favorite? I have more cute Christmas inspiration coming your way a little later this week and there are a few sets that were shared today that you will definitely see again. I hope you make plans to stop back and thank you so much for stopping by today!
