Share Smiles & Laughter With the NEW Snarky, Fun, & Funny Stamps!
Hey, crafty friends! It’s Heather here today! Are you still laughing at the new sentiments that are a part of the new Mini Strips – Fun & Funny stamp and Simple Strips – Snarky stamp like I am? I have many people in my life that will definitely appreciate the sarcasm and humor and I can see myself using the sentiments for many future cards! Laughter is the best medicine, especially when times are rough, am I right?
Today, I have more inspiration to share with you using the new snarky, fun, and funny products from the TE Creative Team. But first, I want to remind you about the Mini Strips stamp promotion. Here are the details:
Right now through Sunday, January 24th, all of our Mini Strips stamps (excluding the new Mini Strips – Fun & Funny) are 15% off in the TE webstore. Do you have all of the Mini Strips stamps? Now it’s time for the good stuff! Here’s more inspiration from the TE Creative Team using the new Mini Strips – Fun & Funny stamp, Simple Strips – Snarky stamp, and Simple Strips – Asymmetrical die along with other products from the TE webstore. I know these cards will make you smile and probably even laugh out loud!
First up are a few cards that feature the new Mini Strips – Fun & Funny stamp:
This sweet card by Emily Mydlowski is sure to make you smile. It’s perfect for Valentine’s Day or just because! Emily paired the cute-as-can-be monsters from the Little Monsters Stamp & Die Combo set with the ‘You’re weird – never change’ sentiment from the new Mini Strips – Fun & Funny stamp and ‘I heart you’ sentiment from the Building Blocks – Love Additions stamp. I love the playful background on Emily’s card that is created with the Heart of Hearts Layered Stencil set with purple inks and Moon Dust glitter gel.
There are so many fun characters in the TE collection that you can pair with the various sentiments from the new stamps. Latisha Yoast chose Gus in his paper boat from the Gus & Gertie Ride On stamp set to pair with the ‘A note to say hello’ sentiment from the Mini Strips – Fun & Funny stamp. She colored the image with Copic markers and added it to a Confetti Cake card base that is stenciled with the Breezy stencil in Confetti Cake and Blue raspberry inks for a water like look.
Here’s another ‘better than a text’ card that I (Heather Nichols) created with the Mini Strips – Fun & Funny stamp. I used the Hi, Hey, Hello Background (the incentive stamp for January for orders of $100 or more – CLICK HERE for more information) to go with the three sentiment strips on the front of my shaker card. The background is embossed in white over a pastel rainbow blend background and I added a shaker element over the top that is filled up with lots of hearts and sequins. This card is perfect for sending love and for sure a smile!
Next up is a collection of cards featuring the new Simple Strips – Snarky stamp and Simple Strips – Asymmetrical die.
You knew Big Grumpy wouldn’t be able to stay away from the sentiments from the Simple Strips – Snarky stamp, right? Natasha Valkovskaya masked off the bottom portion of the Big Grumpy image so he appears to be peeking over the top of a wall… or I guess here he is hiding according to the sentiment strip beneath him?! You could creates a whole set of cards like this featuring a bunch of the snarky/sarcastic sentiments!
Another critter that is great to pair with snarky sentiments is Max the cat from the Max & Millie stamp set like Annette Allen did here. Max definitely doesn’t look like he cares and that look pairs perfectly with the ‘Fun fact: I don’t care’ sentiment from the Simple Strips – Snarky stamp. Annette kept things clean and simple on this card and placed Max and his attitude on a background stamped with the Striped Background stamp.
The bunny from the Hip Hop Bunny stamp set is full of attitude and Noriko Fairchild paired him with the ‘Nope. Not today’ sentiment from the Simple Strips – Snarky stamp. I love how she perfectly perched the sunglasses on the bunny’s head to emphasize the snark going on! The background is created with The Right Angle Layered Stencil set blended in super light ink tones and the Twinkle Twinkle Background stamped over the top in Sea Salt ink.
Kevin Bray brought back Gus riding his skateboard from the Gus & Gertie Ride On stamp set on this fun and whimsical card. The ‘You’re my favorite dork’ sentiment from the Simple Strips – Snarky stamp is perfect for celebrating the quirky and fun friends that you enjoy your favorite hobbies with – like Gus enjoying skateboarding with Gertie here! The background is blended with blue and purple inks using the Heart of Hearts Layered Stencil set.
