Today’s video comes to you from Emily Leiphart. She created two adorable Mini Slim trifold cards featuring images and sentiments from the Tutti Frutti stamp set. Watch the video below to see how these cards are created:
In the video, Emily shows you how to make your own Mini Slim trifold cards and use the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Square set to add windows to the layers. She stamps and colors the fruit images from the Tutti Frutti stamp set with Copic markers and then uses several of the fruits and sentiments from the stamp set on her cards.

Emily used the orange and lemon from the Tutti Frutti stamp set on this trifold card. The orange is on the front layer and Emily added the lemon to the second layer of the trifold card. I love the tip that Emily shares in the video for covering up the back of die cuts where Copic marker coloring has bled through! The very inside card layer is stenciled with the Mini Slim Wonky Dots stencil and there are sentiments stamped on each layer of the card with Oreo Ink.

This card features the watermelon and strawberry images from the Tutti Frutti stamp set. She repeated a similar layout for this card, but this time stenciled the very inside layer of the trifold card using the Striped Squares stencil. I love the frames that Emily added to the second layer of her cards to add extra color and interest. The frame on this card was cut out from silver glitter cardstock using the two square dies from the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Square set.

Trifold cards are an interactive treat for the card recipient and this set by Emily featuring the fruit from the Tutti Frutti stamp set is just so cute and fun!
Check out the list below for the supplies that Emily used to create her set of Mini Slim trifold cards:

Now, enjoy one last round up of projects from the TE Creative Team using the new Mini Slim Essentials products from this week’s release:

Here’s another fun Mini Slim trifold card idea created by Laurie Willison. Laurie used an embossing sandwich in her die cut machine to emboss the Mini Slim Wonky Dots stencil onto a piece of Cherry Pop cardstock for the front of her card. She added a strawberry from the Tutti Frutti stamp set along with a sentiment framed by one of the Circle Window Frames dies. I love how she popped up the center of the frame where the sentiment is stamped for dimension! When the trifold card is opened, it reveals a fun summery scene featuring more cute strawberries, a cloudy sky created with the Set the Scene – Cloud Stencil Strips set, grass stenciled with the Set the Scene – Grass Stencil Strips set, and a tree created with the Modern Tree Stamp & Stencil Combo set.

Latisha Yoast created a fun and tropical Mini Slim card with the Tutti Frutti stamp set. The fruits are colored with Copic markers and fussy cut out with craft snips. Latisha added them to a background that is stenciled using the Mini Slim Tropical Leaves stencil with Cilantro ink on Lime Zest cardstock and framed with a few Poblano Pepper cardstock frames cut out with the Mini Slim Thin Frame Cutting Plate die. The sentiment is stamped with Oreo ink and Latisha added a few Bits & Pieces – Black Drip Drops for a finishing touch.

The watermelon from the Tutti Frutti stamp set is the star of this Mini Slim trifold card created by Noriko Fairchild. The Mini Slim trifold card is created from a piece of Cookie Monster cardstock and the circle windows to showcase the watermelon were added with the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Circle set. Noriko stenciled tone on tone patterns onto two of the card layers using the Mini Slim Wonky Dots stencil. The front of the card features the Oh My Word – Hello die cut and Noriko embossed the ‘you’re one in a melon!’ sentiment from the Tutti Frutti stamp set in white on the inside layer of the card.

This last Mini Slim card by Melody Rupple features the previously released Little Critters stamp set. Melody cut out the critters using the new Little Critters dies and added them into the windows of a Mini Slim Circle Window Cutting Plate die cut panel. The panel is stenciled with the Mini Slim Wonky Dots stencil in a rainbow of colors and the windows are framed with the new Circle Window Frames dies. Melody created a coordinating envelope for the card with a Mini Slim Scalloped Envelope Liner die cut that is also stenciled with the Mini Slim Wonky Dots stencil.
