Here’s a closer look at the new items we are debuting in the Designer Dangles collection today:

Customize your own on trend fashion accessories when you create handmade earrings using our Designer Dangles dies. These Mixed-Media dies are specially designed to cut through a variety of materials, including our Craft Leather and TE 100% Wool Designer Felt (sold separately). Just cut out your designs and loop them onto earring wires for an on-trend look. We have four new Designer Dangles die collections available now:

• Designer Dangles – Double Drop: a two tiered petal shaped earring design. Use jump rings to attach the tiers together.
• Designer Dangles – In the Round: a circle shaped with a half circle cut out and half circle shape die to add another layer of pattern/texture to the bottom half of the earring design.
• Designer Dangles – On Point: a teardrop diamond shaped earring design.
• Designer Dangles – Wrap Around: cuts a strip with rounded ends designed to wrap around elements to connect to your earring designs!

Next up we have fun new walnut wood elements to step up your earring designs. Some of the wooden designs coordinate with the die collections I just shared above:

Our Knock on Wood earring composition bases come in a variety of shapes to complement our Designer Dangles dies. With drilled holes that work with our Designer Dangles Earring Wires and Jump Rings (sold separately), these laser-cut walnut wood shapes will surely inspire you to make more jewelry!

Please note: the laser-cutting process leaves a thin layer of film on each base that makes it look “dirty” on one side. Peel off the film to reveal the true walnut color that can be left plain, painted, or bedazzled with glitter!

Each of our Custom Craft Leather packs includes 3 – 4″ x 5 1/2″ sheets:

• Custom Craft Leather – Trendy Twigs: a rustic neutral, tone on tone pattern of twigs, leaves, berries, and pine sprigs.
• Custom Craft Leather – Farmhouse Flowers: a pretty floral pattern in white on the perfect farmhouse green background.
• Custom Craft Leather – Blue Blossoms: A bright and cheery multicolored floral design in white, orange, turquoise, and yellow on a dark blue background.

We are also excited to introduce a new Craft Leather bundle! All of our Craft Leathers are vegan friendly and come in a huge variety of colors, patterns, and textures. Here is the newest additions to our Craft Leather line up:

Now that you’ve gotten a look at the new Designer Dangles product offerings, it’s time for inspiration from a few members of the TE Creative Team:

Jen Shults had her daughter model the earrings that she created with the Designer Dangles – Wrap Around dies, Knock on Wood – Wrap Around Rings, and the green cork craft leather from the Good as Gold Craft Leather pack. Don’t they look awesome on her? I love that this style of earrings goes well with a casual look, but I could also see styling this pair of earrings with a more formal look too!

Kavya combined jewelry making with stamping and I couldn’t love the results more! The earrings are created with the Designer Dangles – Wrap Around dies, Knock on Wood – Wrap Around Rings, and Blue Blossoms Custom Craft Leather. Kavya embellished the earrings with leaves from the Picked Posies stamp set that are embossed in white on thin balsa wood she had in her craft stash, die cut with the coordinating dies, and inked with Blueberry ink.

Kelly Lunceford combined several of the new Designer Dangles products to create this stunning pair of earrings. She used the black cork with gold metallic flecks from the Good as Gold Craft Leather pack cut out with the Designer Dangles – Wrap Around dies to connect the Knock on Wood – Wrap Around Rings and Knock on Wood – Half Circles together into a unique design. Kelly left the backing paper on the wooden pieces for a distressed look and you could create a completely different effect by simply removing the paper backing!

Melody Rupple created a few pairs of earrings that I could see myself reaching for every day! Many of the Knock On Wood elements can be used on their own, like Melody did here with the Knock on Wood – Leaves. She used the Knock on Wood – On Point Frames for the second pair of earrings and layered the Blue Blossoms Custom Craft Leather cut out with the Designer Dangles – On Point dies layered behind for a pop of pattern and color.

Jen Shults used the black cork with gold metallic flecks from the Good as Gold Craft Leather pack cut out with the Designer Dangles – On Point dies layered over the top of the Knock on Wood – On Point Frames for this classy pair of earrings. The golden tone of the walnut wood, the gold flecks in the cork, and the gold earring wires bring the look together.

Annette Allen used the Knock on Wood – In the Round shapes to create this pretty pair of earrings. She added a patterned panel to the front of the earrings cut out from the Farmhouse Florals Custom Craft Leather using the Designer Dangles – In the Round dies. There’s another layer of the floral design peek through the opening on the top of the earrings that Annette cut out with the Designer Dangles – On Point dies.

There are so many great options for creating custom earring designs with the new Designer Dangles products and Susan Block shares a few of her ideas here! On the left, Susan layered the Knock on Wood – Leaves over gold craft leather die cut with a teardrop shaped Designer Dangles earring die. In the middle are earrings created with the Knock on Wood – In the Round shapes that have a pattern layered onto the bottom half cut out from 100% Wool Designer Felt – Leopard using the Designer Dangles – In the Round dies. The earrings on the right are created with the Designer Dangles – Double Drop dies. The top layer is the Knock on Wood – Double Drop and the bottom layer is a burgundy craft leather from the Craft Leather – Faux Suede set.

Here’s another pair of earrings from Kavya that combines the Designer Dangles products with stamping! The flowers from the Picked Posies stamp set are stamped and colored on thin balsa wood, cut out with the coordinating dies, and added to the bottom layer of this set of earrings that are cut out using the Designer Dangles – Double Drop dies from the Trendy Twigs Custom Craft Leather. The top tier of the earrings is the Knock on Wood – Double Drop shapes.

Finally, for today, we have two pairs of stacked earrings created by Susan Block. The different craft leathers for the earrings are cut out using the Designer Dangles – Modern Mix & Match die collection and the earring designs are put together along with the Knock on Wood – Circles and Knock on Wood – Half Circles shapes. Each pair includes a wooden shape, a solid color craft leather, and one of the new Custom Craft Leather patterns!
