A few members of the TE Creative Team created fresh inspiration using stencils. Check it out below:

Jill Hawkins used the Candy Cane Stripes stencil to create a fun striped background on this snarky mini slim sized Christmas card. She added the stenciling first with Cupcake ink and then added another layer of stripes with Mint Julep ink, overlapping the wider stripes to create a fun look. The stripes are a perfect backdrop for the kitty critter all tangled up in lights from the Fluffy Friends – Holiday stamp set. Jill finished off the card with the ‘don’t get your tinsel in a tangle’ sentiment from the Handlettered Holiday 2 stamp set.

Noriko Fairchild took the Winter’s Beauty stencil and instead of using the large snowflake as a focal element of her card, she stenciled it several times in multiple colors coming in from the sides of a piece of Toffee cardstock to create a patterned design. She cut out a frame with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets dies and popped up the frame around a sentiment from the Snowed in Sayings stamp set that is embossed in white on Toffee cardstock.

This last card is created using a print that I made with the Nordic Snowflake stencil and the Gel Printing Kit (Heather Nichols). The print was created during a printing session during a Facebook Live on the TE Facebook Page (CLICK HERE to view the rebroadcast) and I just loved how it turned out! I added paint to the press with a brayer, added the stencil, pulled paint out from the stencil openings, removed the stencil, let the paint dry a bit on the press, added more paint to the press, and then pulled the print. It’s the perfect background on this shaker card for the upcoming holidays. I filled the shaker with Snow Flurries sequins and Bits & Pieces – Snowflakes and added the sentiment to the front of the card that is created with the Get the Word Out – Happy stamp (+ coordinating die) and On Repeat – Holidays stamp (+ coordinating On Repeat die).
